The thing that irritates me the most is our lack of putting together good, long ABs and getting the starters out of the game early. They will never have to use any of their more suspect bullpen options their starters average 15 pitches an inning and get through 6 every game. I understand swinging early if it's a pitch you can hit, but most of the time we are not doing damage early

If this was against the orioles or rays, I'd be frustrated but not angry
It's the rangers… that changes things.

MMQB here for sure:
Bases loaded, no outs, bringing in Diaz with his limited ABs recently probably wasn't the right move in that situation.
Would have been better to get Dubon (a contact type of guy that gives you good ABs, even if he is not the bust it open kind of guy) and then have Diaz take over at catcher for the rest of the game.

I still think this series shifts in Arlington. We have the advantage in games 3-4. Scherzer starting doesn't scare me at all. We aren't dead yet.

Phillies with a bomb from both Schwarber and Harper in the first.
I hate them the way the rest of the league hates us right now.

I was merely trying to make light of our loss. It was more of just the feeling of losing a big game. Not the performance in general.
I feel very blessed to be part of this larger community where we can celebrate together as well as complain to nobody listening.
I also believe, myself included, all of us are extremely spoiled and I'm not ready to let go of this 7 year run.

The problem with PHing Dubon is you have no more OFs and would lose the DH if something happened to one of them.AggieJ2002 said:

If we lose this series, I hope the Phillies sweep the WS in dominating fashion
