I still think this series shifts in Arlington. We have the advantage in games 3-4. Scherzer starting doesn't scare me at all. We aren't dead yet.

Well you've got Tucker, Chas, and Altuve hacking no matter how impotent they've been and either Maldy or a guy who has 9 ABs in the last month at C. So that's 4/9 spots already not primed to do it.
This team needs good starting pitching to succeed. And it doesn't have it like it had last year.

Bases loaded, no outs, bringing in Diaz with his limited ABs recently probably wasn't the right move in that situation.
Would have been better to get Dubon (a contact type of guy that gives you good ABs, even if he is not the bust it open kind of guy) and then have Diaz take over at catcher for the rest of the game.

It was the right call IMO. His last few pinch hits have been deep fly outs. Dusty had to be thinking what we were and that was worst case sac fly.
Altuve getting a K was the bad one.
Literally all he and Altuve have to do is hit fly outs to right/center field and it's 5-4 there.
Can Framber jump JV so he pitches in Arlington instead of MMP?

Game 4: Urquidy
If you somehow get it to 2-2, I'd go France game 5 and save JV for game 6, then Javier game 7. Risky but I dont trust Framber at home.
If it's 1-3, then I'd go JV game 5

Their fans are insufferable and also fairly laughable and pitiable in a way (but understandable somewhat after almost a decade of getting ground to dust by Big Brother) but outside of that and Semien, I don't know that it changes my opinion who they're losing to. It's just frustrating that they're beating themselves with this plate approach.

The game plan is simple from here on out for the Rangers. Just throw trash just off the plate and watch the Astros strike out. Feed a strike here and there and then stay outside because we have zero plate discipline.

Astros have been the only light in some very dark sports years. Luckily its been a very bright light with some titles, but my other teams have been really ****ing bad
