Playoffs this year have been by and large a snoozefest. Teams largely are building healthy leads early and watch the losing team just flail around at the plate.

Yeah this has been a rough week of baseball as a viewer. Most exciting game was probably our 6-4 game 1 win, followed by game 2 in Baltimore

Aw so they finally see what we see (Jake and Plouffe are the only good ones on that show)

I realize this means the Phillies are likely going to be a problem again if we manage to get far enough, but I can't lie and say I'm not enjoying it.

Dodgers were 45-17 after a loss this season. Wow.

One of my best friends is a Braves fan. He is sad.

I hate the Phillies, so I feel bad for him.

If the Braves go out in the DS, it gives off major 2001 Mariners vibes.

Brantley is far from 100% so I would expect occasional day offs for as long as we're in the playoffs. Sucks but it is what it is.

As far as the Sonny Gray splits thing goes.. to be fair, righties have hit better off him over the duration of his career. This is the first year it's been the opposite. So I guess it all depends on if you value the large sample size or recency more.

If Brantley was 100% he would certainly be in the lineup tomorrow night.

Seems like the shadows won't be a big issue tomorrow by the time 3pm rolls around. That's good news.

The first three innings of the game tomorrow are so big. I know that seems like a captain obvious statement but it's so true. We have to put some pressure on Gray early and we need Javier to find a rhythm.

We also need someone besides Altuve and Alvarez to come up with big hits. Tucker, Bregman, Abreu. We need those guys. We can rage about Maldy as much as we want (rightfully so) but the truth is if those guys don't show up it's going to be an early exit either way.

I think we see this team respond in a big way tomorrow.

The "Brantley's not 100%" excuse reeks of BS to justify Maldy being in the lineup

I hope Yanier can handle the pressure of starting a road playoff game. In season, when he had to pinch hit in leverage situation, he was up there trying to hit 15 run homers.

Ok...Fact is he missed a lot of time down the stretch and there were talks about him possibly sitting this DS out.

Not everything is about Maldy and Dusty. It's comments like this that make this place unbearable at times.

Another reason we should have been giving him more at-bats, not less.

Stupid question… but if Harper can learn first base so quickly, why not try to get Yordan to learn it over the off-season.

Would create a lot of interesting lineup possibilities for 2024

If the Phillies can risk it with Harper's injury history, so can we with Yordan.

All I'm saying is it would be a great secondary position for him to have that would create opportunities for our lineup because of outfield prospects we have coming up soon.

Harper is way more athletic than Yordan and doesn't have an extra 50 lbs to carry like Yordan does.
