What are the chances the roof is open Saturday?
Saturday, I'd say 50/50
But if they don't open the roof Sunday night… I'll lose faith in humanity

No chance for Saturday, maybe Sunday.
They probably should with the recent struggles at home. Change something up.

Play-offs, baby.
Brad Ausmus, former Tigers and Angels manager, is interested in pursuing MLB managerial openings this offseason. He interviewed for the Astros GM position last offseason and served as Team Israel’s bench coach in the ’23 WBC. @MLBNetwork

Why no chance on Saturday? High of 73 with no precipitation in the forecast.
I certainly hope that ends up being the case.Ag_07 said:
Not worried about this
A) The Bagwell influence was far less than what this thread thinks
B) He doesn't seem like the type Dana would want. This will be a Dana hire and he's way smarter than that

I'm never not going to pissed off at Walt Weiss. That was my last game ever in the Dome and basically my final memory.texasaggie2015 said:A) This is spot on. Both on here and Twitter.Ag_07 said:

B) Yeah, I haven't heard anything that would indicate any interest. The only names I've heard are Walt Weiss, Eric Young Sr, Joe Espada and Alex Cintron and that was just speculation from one of my sources close to the team. We won't hear anything leaking out until after Dusty is gone.
It has not been announced. Their top 2 will go on full rest in games 2 and 3. The most likely candidate is Joe Ryan, but it may be Bailey Ober.Bag said:

I am confused, espn says the Minn pitcher is still undecided?
He's one of the few guys I wold say "No, let's keep Dusty."EastCoastAgNc said:Brad Ausmus, former Tigers and Angels manager, is interested in pursuing MLB managerial openings this offseason. So help me, if the Bagwell Buddy connection leads to this guy being the next manager...this man is the Adam Gase of baseball
I would guess not a true opener, but just a very short leash. Hope France gets thru the lineup once and if he's rolling to ride him. If not move on to Urquidy or Brown.houag78 said:
Does anybody else think we should try an "opener" type of approach for 4th spot in rotation (maybe even 3rd). It just seems like we've got a wealth of guys (Brown, France, Urquidy) who could give us 2-3 good innings apiece - keep 'em on a short leash, etc.
That list is scary long. I don't want (in no particular order)Farmer1906 said:He's one of the few guys I wold say "No, let's keep Dusty."EastCoastAgNc said:Brad Ausmus, former Tigers and Angels manager, is interested in pursuing MLB managerial openings this offseason. If be curious to see the Twins stats comparing what they've done versus the AL Central and the stats against the rest of the league. The AL Central was terrible this year, and the for to play 13 games each against the Royals, Indians, Tigers and White Sox.
I'm also curious as to how they performed assist teams over .500.
