Absolutely not. If you are in position to rest because the result doesn't matter, then I would expect us to rest as well. Load management isn't throwing a game.

What? Dana called Dusty out very publicly the other day and in his contract he has final say over the lineup card. What else do you want them to do? Hold his wife hostage? Ketch has stated they do have oversight on the postseason lineup.

Just look at the difference between the past couple of regular seasons and postseasons for evidence of this.

They were defending it though. Not sure who their anouncers are, but one (Nitkowski?) was complaining about blowing his shoulder in the playoffs due to pitching in a meaningless game before the end of the season.

They should recognize they are in control of their own destiny though.
