Still optimistic - I just can't wrap my head around that there's a possibility Altuve, Bregs, JV, Peña, Yordan etc would be sitting home in October watching Correa in the playoffs. That can't be a thing.

-One might hope at this point Dusty gets some front office input on the lineup instead of playing JV's "personal" whatevers

If somehow Astros make the wildcard then they would stay on road presumably after regular season ends, going from Phoenix on Sunday to Minneapolis for the first game on Tuesday. If that series lasts 3 games and Astros advance, then on Thursday they would head to next city for the ALDS starting on Saturday for the first two games.

That's why salvaging yesterday would have been so great. 1.5 back is so much easier than 2.5 games
We'd basically need the rangers to finish 2-5. Right now their offense is hot and the Angels are without Trout/Ohtani
