I grew up watching the Astros before A&M was a thought in my mind. I'm glad I got my degree there but I've certainly gone on to do other things in my adult life, so I'm confused by the idea that college sports should sit stop the pedestal. (Personally.)
As far as discussion topics it was either this or clawing my eyes out at Dusty Baker being too dim to understand a "must win game."

I'd love for both to raise the trophy, but honestly, I'm more into the Astros than college football now (especially with NIL), and my kids are all about the Astros too. It's fun to see them excited about the playoff chase. I've created monsters.
Also, I don't think any of their friends are college football fans yet, but are all about little league.

Has nothing to do with being miserable. It's being objective. I'm firmly in the I'll believe it when I see it mind set with the Ags. The staff doesn't give me much hope. Especially Durkin. The D looks putrid. And the oline looks pretty bad too. It's my opinion but I'm expecting sec play to get painful. If it doesn't great, I'd be glad to be wrong.
