What's so frustrating is that it's really not that difficult to put out a best or close-to-best lineup.
1) Chas plays everyday
2) When Maldy plays Diaz is either the DH or plays first base
Follow these two simple guidelines and it is almost impossible for Dusty to completely screw up the lineup.

what if the analytics have found a pattern that suggest benching Diaz and McCormick with pitchers with certain spin rates or something less obvious. then if we were to start them they'd get exposed in a way everyone could use against them
