We really are a feast or famine team. Some in between but this has been a weird year in that regard. No massive win streaks. No massive losing streaks. The statistics on our team this year are just bizarre.

They didnt use to call fan interference like they do now. Bartman was ruled as not interference. But even worse was Jeffrey Maier in the playoffs. Took a ball out of the Baltimore outfielders glove to give Jeter a home-run. Ruled it wasnt fan interference.

Its dusty….always has been
Every time the team gets some momentum he decides to sit hot players in the name of 'everyone plays'
The guys coming off the bench dont produce and the other guys dejectedly cool off….dusty rewards good performances with benchings and that is terrible for the psyche of a team

I know what the rule is, I'm just saying, it's stupid.

Everything in the stadium including the ticket is already overpriced. If a guy pays 200 bucks to take his daughter to the game, he should be able to catch any ball he can touch.

if you don't want that, then don't put the seats in a place where they can interfere with balls in play. Or put screens up.
What an idiotic take. That ball was still well in the field of play, foul or not, the fielder could have been made the play.
Putting fans in a position to alter the play is just as much the issue though, which I think is what he is saying.
If fans keep doing that they are going to put screens up everywhere, no foul or home run balls (or at least far fewer) for anybody.

I honestly don't think there's another manager in baseball who wouldn't think Dusty Baker is dumb as hell. I bet that Servais and Boche absolutely love that he is their main competition.
