If Dana was capable of getting dusty to change, it would have happened already. You can't change a stubborn senile donkey.
A manager taking out this much of an obvious grudge on an individual player whom the rest of the team seems to like, and a good one in particular, should be fireable.

He does realize he made inexplicable changes starting on Friday and completely cooled the team off and is now just doubling down. I hate that it feels like firing him today gets you deep into the playoffs, but that's not really an option and we're gonna just have to hope the team goes on a run in spite of him again.

So let's reward the guy whose error cost us the game last night and bench the guy who hit a 2 run homerun and then also a guy who is putting up really good to elite numbers because Dusty does not like him. Only in Dusty's world
