Lineup construction continues to be hampered by Maldy starts. Only way you can get Diaz ABs is at DH then which means Brantley doesn't get in the lineup.

Solution might be to tell certain pitchers you aren't getting it done with your personal catcher so Diaz is going to catch you. Figure it out.

What a shame, you'd think the opportunity to go for a repeat would motivate this organization from top to bottom. Just see a lot of complacency. Looks like the thinking is that the switch will be flipped in the postseason.

Last repeat WS champ was 20+ years ago.

A lot rests on the head to head series remaining v Arlington and Seattle for winning the division title.

I guess those are both on the road so the team will show up?
