Love that we're back to the Abreu fifth thing.
Otherwise decent.
I am happy that Diaz and Chas in lineup so not that upset, but I would love to hear Dusty's genius explanation for moving Abreu back up in the order.

Donkey gonna Donkey. He's a veteran, he DESERVES that lineup spot. No, he f***ing doesn't just like Julks didn't earn the chance to go 0-38 or whatever ridiculous number it was.EastCoastAgNc said:texasaggie2015 said:Reptil v. Red Sox ๐

Abreu hitting 5th? Wtf? Double play machine is once again operational
Quote:
Red Sox prospect Ceddanne Rafaela started August by homering in five consecutive Minor League games. Now he'll end it by getting his first call up to the Major Leagues.
The Red Sox are calling up Rafaela for the team's stretch run, per MLB.com's Ian Browne. The Red Sox haven't announced the move. MLB Pipeline ranks Rafaela as Boston's No. 3 prospect and the No. 77 prospect in baseball.
Rafaela is hitting .302 with an .870 OPS across Double-A and Triple-A this year with 20 home runs, 79 RBIs and 36 steals in 108 games in what's been the best offensive Minor League season for him thus far.

In corresponding moves, Wilyer Abreu is headed to the paternity list
Take a look at the third pic. I'm ASSUMING that is our new pitching coach who wrote his name on the wall.Beat40 said:

So they sent him to Boston but he might not play in this series?
It's the only way I can process Dusty's line up choicestexasaggie2015 said:
Max, Jacob.... my brother in Christ how much have you had to drink today?
Michael Brantley is here and thereโs a chance heโs activated tomorrow. Heโll workout with the team today and then theyโll discuss.

Trust him, he's a hall of famer.Mathguy64 said:
So MB is a veteran but not an Abreu level veteran. He will get activated and then Dusty will make him wait another game or 2? Just so Dusty is sure?

The way teams have been pitching around Tucker and Yordan lately (even with Yordan's "slump") I expect to see Abreu up with at least 2 men on base once or twice tonight. I just pray he doesn't hit into a double-play. If he does you can expect Chas to lead off the next inning hitting a bomb.
Abreu should hit 7th until he proves his 40+ year old back is fine. ****ing Donkey.
If that's what it takes. I also am willing to pay the luxury tax tonight...I bet on the stupid Red Sox. Please Donkey, make a fool out of me. I'd rather not make money on your dumb ass, I'd much rather we win.The Porkchop Express said:Cue Abreu going 3 for 5 with 2 RBIProsperdick said:Donkey gonna Donkey.
