The Astros optioned Ronel Blanco to Triple-A in order to activate Phil Maton from the injured list. That is the fifth time Blanco's been optioned this season. The Astros can call him back up, but aren't allowed to option him again without exposing him to waivers

At this point I think it's a very long shot Javier in the top 3 of the postseason rotation.
It's Verlander, Framber, & Brown. I lean France over Javier or Urquidy for #4. It's probably on hands on deck at that point anyway.
We definitely need one or 2 to get hot

I'm not a huge fan of Dubon playing in CF but am glad we at least have Chas in LF so can't complain too much.

What's funny about all of these Dusty rants is that it's almost like Pavlovian response at this point. As maddening as Dusty can be at times, this team has had deeper issues than Dusty. Two starting pitchers out for the year. Brantley out. Bregman just average. Abreu struggling. It's a host of issues. Is Dusty a wizard? Heck no. But the team is just not as strong overall.
