It'll be interesting to see how long Cora lets Sale pitch in the 5th. He went 4.2 and 4.1 innings each of is last 2 games this month

Yup - Should have been 5 man rotation with piggyback starters.

Urquidy gave as much as he could. Wish he could have gotten thru 5 with only 3 runs, but if Seth can get us out of this tied, then I still feel pretty good.

He was a college pitcher and has a solid arm.

I mean if you look at Urquidy's history. He's usually about a 5ish inning guy who gives up about 3 runs per start.

So this is pretty much who he is

No, because the Astros play Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and the bullpen is already taxed.

He needs 5 out of Urquidy to make it through. Only JV and JP recently have been giving 6 reliability.

If you need to pull a pitcher in the middle of the 4th inning then you bring in one of your traditional bullpen guys to finish out the inning and start the piggyback starter on a fresh inning

Dusty is living in 1987 and thinks pitcher Wins and a lot of other nearly obsolete counting stats matter a lot more than they do.
