maybe the GM should have done something about the first base positionLarryElder said:
This thread we want Singeltin Abreu sucks , 2 weeks later singleton sucks we want Abreu
I agree that Abreu and Pena are not on DustyWest Roxbury said:75AG said:
Can they put Dusty on the IL for managerial stupidity?
I know everyone loves to pile on Dusty and he deserves a lot of criticism but Bregman is in decline, they didn't get what they wanted out of Abreu and Peña has struggled. Brantley has been out too and we needed his steady contact in this lineup. Then you have pitching injuries. It's been bad across the board. Plus improved clubs in the division.
their pitching is (thankfully) not close to Seattle's but we'll see how far that gets us.W said:
7 of the next 10 vs. the Red Sox
that is a heavy dose of Boston

No one, myself included, wants to hear it right now but the Rangers getting swept this weekend helped us quite a bit during our choke job
The lead is still right in front of us - just need to pull together
this is actually all that matters but this thread will never see or agree to that.FrioAg 00 said:

And what was he supposed to do? Bellinger was ours for the taking until the Cubs got hot and decided not to sell. Abreu contract isn't going anywhere (which obviously wasn't his doing) and you're not getting rid of him until Crane decides to pay him to not play.

Hear a lot of talk about the hitting, lineups, etc.
If the pitching doesn't improve from guys like Framber, Javier, and Brown, none of it is going to matter

I'm hoping to catch a Tigers game next week when I'm up there. Unfortunately before we play them
But what's the best ticket method to find deals? My hote is north of Detroit but I was going to pick up a ticket after I land and catch the game before I go north

This Little League hosted ballgame between the Phillies and Nats is a cool idea. I don't remember this from last year.
They should play it next year at the actual Little League field. What does a 500' bomb look like in that field?

Following being swept at home by the Mariners, the Astros had a players only meeting at which veteran catcher Martin Maldanaldo spoke.

This. Peña isn't struggling. This is exactly who he is. A below avg hitter who plays good defense.

Aren't they more expensive on there and more fees
