Yordan makes more sense at first base, but I don't think he enjoyed playing there.

And a few of those guys they have said could potentially end at 1st as they will not have the same speed/glove in the OF like Tuck.

This is true. I get Tucker still has some years but if a long term contract is made that will slowly fade.

I agree. In 2030 we can look at moving TED to 1B.
Completely agree...I don't like the thought of him up with men on and Chas waiting on deck. It will be even more frustrating if he leads off the next inning with a home run.texasaggie2015 said:

3. Not all of the outfielders in the farm system project as good big league outfielders. Example: Baez and Loperfido. There's a big possibility one of these guys ends up at first.

I don't get the obsession with first base and our farm system. The Astros rely on trades and free agency just as much as drafting into the farm systemtexasaggie2015 said:

I'm telling you guys. There's no player who has worked harder this season than Yainer Diaz. He's spent countless hours working with the hitting coaches on his plate discipline, meeting with Maldy in regards to game preparation, and working on defense at three different positions. The organization is ecstatic.

Michael Brantley is at Minute Maid Park to work out with the Astros today. He said he’s playing tomorrow with Sugar Land and pleased with how he’s feeling in rehab games. He said his timing at the plate is “better than I probably expected.”

That's great to hear. I think you said that Diaz didn't enjoy catcher? What was he drafted as? He's a great catcher, so just curious about what his plan was on a path to the big leagues.
