The way it's structured is that Dusty has full control over the lineup. That's really common in MLB. I would imagine it would be tough to find guys who will take jobs if they didn't. I'm sure there's exceptions.

The front office provides input and suggestions. But it's ultimately Dusty's decision. I know for a fact the front office wants more Diaz ABs.

Arraez is all but in a shift. On the Bregman play in T1, he started right on the line, immediately moved to the SS side and actually had to come back to 2B to grab the liner.

The solution is simple. Put Yordan in left when Maldonado catches, DH Diaz. And then when Diaz catches, DH Yordan

No more Meyers or Dubon in CF unless it's an absolutely necessary day off for somebody

Or Maldy just doesn't catch anymore because it's clear as day he's hurting this team more than helping it.
