1 run games are a measure of luck. They rarely correlate to winning %. Extra innings are another thing altogether.
Id like to see him out there at least once and see how it goes, might as well do it tonight. The other games have him DH, Chaz in LF and Jake in RF.

My lineup has Jake in CF. I messed up and put Maldy -9 forgetting I was listing positions rather spot in the lineup
I'm a firm believer you should play small ball if you are tied and batting in the bottom of Manfredball. You should maximize your chances of scoring just 1 run.
Alternatively if tied and in the field in the bottom you play it the other way. Immediately walk the batter to make a force and DP. A player on 3B and 1 out and I walk them full or at least set up DP.

Agree. We lost an early season home game in extras against the Tigers in this fashion. Went to the bottom of the 10th tied. We didn't bunt. Next guy hit a long fly ball. We didn't score and ended up losing 7-6 in 11.Mathguy64 said:
