This has to be the lineup though someone needs to show Dusty, games 1 & 3 were 3 runs and 1 run. Games 2 and 4 were 7 runs and 8+. 1-5 were the same in games 1 & 3 and then 2 & 4.

Bregman is a below average hitter who has above average streaks. it's justified because he has showed up in the playoffs and he's got a solid glove. But he's a 6/7 hole type hitter.

Maldonado - C


vs a lefty starter
Meyers - CF (Chas LF)
Alvarez - DH
Maldonado - C


If Dusty really wants to catch Maldonado 4/5 games then I think that's the best compromise to make to get Diaz the most at bats while maintaining good defense

I think the org has thought he could be an OPS .750-.800 type of guy with elite defense.

The injury certainly derailed him, and Chas has just banged his way into the lineup.

I think Jake could be a really solid CFer. May even be able to trade him this offseason for a reliever.
