I'm glad Urquidy is back, but this was not the game to "test" him out. If anything this should have been France's start with Urquidy in the pen ready to give 1-2 innings

Really encouraged by Urquidy today. Yankees lineup is atrocious but he forced a TON of really weak contact all day and generally threw strikes until he tired out in the 4th

You'd think with the past 6 years we've had fans would realize not every single regular season game is a "must win".

At this point we are assuming he would be gassed or regress. We have as much evidence that he would decline as we do he will keep the same level.

For a guy coming back from a long injury, I'd prefer to keep France in his routine and have Urquidy ease into things from the pen

I'm just not a big fan of messing with something already works, and that is taking our most consistent starter out of the rotation for a turn when we are down 2.5 games
