I'm not even upset about Kessinger being in. I'd rather see Diaz at 1B but that is what it is.

At this point Dusty has to be trolling everybody putting Yordan back at 5 and Pena at 2

If he keeps the same 2-5 as last night, and then Kessinger, Dubon and Maldy play… I could live with that. But seeing something work and then throwing it all out is essentially the same as Sumlin being like "we're up 38-10 on ucla running the ball…. Might as well throw it 30 times now"

Letting Kessinger spell Abreu no issue (although still not fan of completely sitting Diaz, as the guy just needs to play and no other organization in baseball would have a guy like Diaz in a split time role). However, absolutely no reason to change the top of the order after last night and move up Peña.

ETA - If Yordan leads off an inning (very f***ing likely btw) just walk him and Chas and mow down our crappy hitters.

I really hope the juice of having Justin on the bump will help us today as we'll need it.

I'm fairly confident (I stopped playing baseball in high school) that baseball players like consistency. I get giving days off as it's a long season. But Dusty puts lineups out there like he's at the ****ing bingo hall. Just dumps all the guys names in one of those basket things and let 'er rip.

Baseball players just want to know that 90% of the time they'll be playing a certain position and hitting in a certain location. It's not that ****ing hard to do.

C'mon guys, did y'all forget the JV lineup already? Of course Dubon was going to be in center and Maldy in the bucket. Dusty even caved and gave Abreu a day off.
