Hey. This team has been on a historic modern day baseball run. When it ends, it's going to be ugly no matter what. Crane knows that. So, while we have championship caliber pieces, enjoy the ride.

Dana was brought here for a reason as he builds teams the Astro way. Slight detour here with the farm system but that's in the future. It will be OK.

99% of sports fans would love a ballsy owner like Crane. Be fans - have fun for now. There will come a time to fret over the future, but that's not 2023 and not even 2024.

JV in HOU brings a different mojo than JV at another club. This club could use that intangible bump.

It will be fun to see what happens.

I mean right now our farm system would look great with Peña and Diaz if we had brought Correa and Vazquez back.

There's something to be said that if your prospects are that good they'd already be in the show…

Arlington may not even make the postseason again. They will be battling Toronto, Boston and LAA for one of the
Last 2 wild cards so they can play 3 at Tampa or Balt or Minnesota to advance while we enjoy a bye.

Can't believe some of y'all are complaining

We just got a starter that has better stats than any of our rotation this year, would slide in as a #1 or #2, for the next 2.5 years at a discounted price…which allows Urquidy and JP to move to the pen in the playoffs…

We solved some pretty big immediate needs here. Chas is our CF. You can more easily address getting an OF guy than you can a cy young caliber pitcher….

Astros should go 6 deep in rotation rest of the way. Let JV, Framber, Javier, Brown, and France pitch less innings as they prepare for an October run. Every pitcher should benefit from a quality 6th starter. Bielak / Blanco can be your long inning guy.

I love this move. I know we gave up a lot to get him back, but let's win NOW. We can worry about the future as the future unfolds. This team is plenty loaded enough to go back-to-back World Series titles and not many teams have done that (especially not in recent years).

With the emergence of JP, Dana may eventually have a starter to move for prospects. Plus I think Framber's gonna want too much.
