I know where you're going with that and I agree…however, Crane got rid of a GM who wanted to run the organization like a small market club where he was begging his GM to spend his money and the guy wouldn't do it.

Technically, Tim Purpura was also a World Series GM and I think most of us agree that the WS appearances/successes had more to do with their predecessors than them.

I admit I've been a Julks proponent. Getting on base more from the walks starting in June were a big improvement.

But he's turned into a pumpkin. Either Yordan in LF and Diaz at DH (DO YOU HEAR ME DUSTY?) or get a CFer and slide Chas to LF.
