In my super knowledgeable and educated opinion they don't want them to play in an intense series like this. They're waiting out the clock. Boys will be back Friday for the Tampa series.

I am starting to think just a LHH bench player would be a good idea. No need to buy Bellinger. Maybe someone more like Charlie Blackmon. Let the Rockies cover part of his salary and they can give him away. Its a nice vet who can have professional ABs on the bench and get an occasional start at DH/LF. Same deal for Ji Man Choi. More power (and Ks) but can be Abreu insurance too.

What makes no sense to me is, if Yordan is here, and Meyers is not in the lineup today, my not designate Meyers and let Yordan pinch hit? Or why didn't Yordan play in Sugar land yesterday if he was resting today?

I get the need for two center fielders on the roster but am I mistaken it didn't Dubon play center last year? Survey he's good enough to rest Chas every 5 days. Hate to lose Julks over Meyer.
