It feels like overtinkering. The toe tap helped last year and now he has gone back to inept.

If he turns into the guy from last year's playoffs, that's great, but we don't have to have that. We just need a GG SS with a competent bottom of the order bat.

Guys on the tv broadcast said we are exactly .500 since Yordan went down, 16-16 but averaging more runs per game since he's been gone.

Seems to me the issue is we aren't playing complimentary baseball. When we score a lot of runs, the pitching gives up a lot. When the pitching has a great game, the offense only scores 2-3 runs

That is why I wonder if Cease + Robert might be easier to do, even if it drives the price tag way up. We have numbers and prospect value that would be easier to part with if we were locking up a long term CF: Chas, Meyers, Julks, Gilbert, Melton, Leon, etc.


You can't get rid of them all though. Someone has to take over in RF when Ted leaves

You can review multiple things on one challenge. So why not challenge the out at 2nd if you can't lose anything.
