He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. His bullpen is overworked because Brown, JP, Beilak, and CJ can't do 6/7 innings regularly. He needs Framber to go 7 when he can because it's almost the only opportunity for his bullpen to throw 2 innings only.

So yeah, he can't overwork Framber, but Framber at 90 pitches going into the 7th was not something we were blinking at last year.

The other day I was trying to think through who they could realistically get rid of in the bullpen if they brought in someone new. I think I got my answer tonight.
