This just isn't true. Opponents are batting .173 vs the slider. It has a run value of +9 vs +1 for the fastball.

Have you seen the usage of Maton, Neris, and Abreu? They are some of the highest used relievers in MLB.

Dusty tried to steal one more inning for the bullpen by Framber going 7.

These guys have had a short off-season for several years in a row. World baseball classic this year. Each one of these guys are on pace to go way past their career high for innings pitched.
