And a split throwing Blanco, Brown, WTF and Javier against their top 4 would be a massive win.
Shawn Dubin will start for the Astros tomorrow.

Framber Valdez said he could pitch Thursday or Friday. He said he hurt his ankle on the dugout steps prior to his last hime start against the Mets.

Inexcusable for him to miss this series. This is on Dusty and Dana. ****ing horrible.
Feels like we've played the entire season with one of our hands behind our back. No excuse to keep shooting ourselves in the dick when the baseball gods have plenty in the chamber for us.

The concern is why wasn't he sore for the start after that? Seems highly unlikely he didn't say anything so the team decided he toughs it out and now he's missing a huge start against the division leaders.

This team is so inconsistent. Hopefully we can take the series against the Rangers, whose fans act like they have 2 World Series titles and the Astros have none, when reality is just the opposite.
I'm not sure I'd stop at "some."BadAggie said:Ag12thman said:

Was at today's game. Some Rangers fans are dumb as dirt.

I'm all for as much Dusty hate as possible but this isn't it.
Framber rolling his ankle isn't on Dusty or Dana. That's quite the reach there.

Can't pitch against the division leader because you rolled an ankle in the dugout? Give me a break, dude. Be a winner. That's weak as ****. Embarrassing
Also, pitching with leg/foot injuries have been known to affect pitching mechanics which leads to arm troubles down the line. Considering our pitching injury woes this season, I'm OK being cautious here.Ag_07 said:Danwell Home said:

Remember it's Dusty and Dana's fault. Don't blame Framber

He's out there to eat innings regardless of score. If he goes 4 or less we are screwed.Marvin said:
So what are we thinking this afternoon in terms of Dubin? I'll say 4 innings and 6 runs.

The Rangers have feasted on this quality of pitching all year. Innings will be the success indicator today.
Mushinski recalled and Blanco optioned.
