This team is so inconsistent. Hopefully we can take the series against the Rangers, whose fans act like they have 2 World Series titles and the Astros have none, when reality is just the opposite.

These boys got some dawg in them but there's just no way they're gonna have a successful season relying on a rotation of all rookies and guys coming back from injury

There were some rumblings Javier is hurting as well and if that turns true it's looking pretty bleak

The concern is why wasn't he sore for the start after that? Seems highly unlikely he didn't say anything so the team decided he toughs it out and now he's missing a huge start against the division leaders.

Maldy needs to be the reserve catcher. Needed only if Diaz is hurt. Having him routinely in the lineup is inexcusable. I appreciate all he did last year and he will always be an Astros WS champion. But he's really hampering the team now and needs to be the backup, and if we don't trade Lee he needs to be DFA'd on 1 August.

Framber rolling his ankle isn't on Dusty or Dana. That's quite the reach there.

Framber rolling his ankle isn't on Dusty or Dana. That's quite the reach there.

The complaint is Framber missing this start instead of resting last week in Saint Louis.

Need the bats to get hot again the next couple days since apparently we can't get out of our own way. Sucks for Framber, but splitting this series is very doable. Not doing so in Toronto was ridiculous after winning the first game. Get it done this time, fellas.Then finish strong at home next week before the break.

Also, pitching with leg/foot injuries have been known to affect pitching mechanics which leads to arm troubles down the line. Considering our pitching injury woes this season, I'm OK being cautious here.
