The hate from that one about Chas is pretty confusing. Dude had 2 hits and RBI today with one of the bigger hits in the 9th inning in a pretty clutch situation but yeah **** that guy he doesn't belong on this team…

Chas seems to be a really good player but we really can't tell because we keep platooning him in center. Tough decision because Meyers is impressing me a ton too

I think it's become pretty obvious that our bullpen overperformed last year and that we don't have a functioning offense without Alvarez.

We literally have three bright spots on the entire team right now…. Diaz, Brown and France

His BA is better than Bregman, Abreu, Peña, and Maldy who get way more at bats.

Mainly because Julks doesn't walk. Bregman's batting average is 9 points lower, but his OPS is 50 points higher.

Batting average does not tell the whole story

Because BA isn't the greatest indicator or being an effective hitter.

Julks is currently 10th on the team in wOBA & 12th in xwOBA. He's more likely to regress than improve based on his quality of contact. If it wasn't for his bases running, he'd have a negative WAR.

While we're all Debbie downers (for good reason) we have had a few bright spots. TED is starting to click. He's got a 156 wRC+ in June. Chas is hot. 171 wRC+ since May 28th. Altuve is still Altuve. 137 since returning from injury. Finally, Yainer. Going back to May 14th (only 66 PA) has a 155 wRC+. I have a ground breaking idea. Those 4 guys need to play everyday until reinforcements come.
