They're the 2022 Yankees at best. Except the Yankees were on pace for 120 or so.

Eh, let them enjoy their moment in the sun. They've sucked for a long, long time, and even the sun shines on a dog's ass every once in a while.

Let them continue to be delusional that this pace and their performance are sustainable. Even fangraphs and bettors believe they will cool off.

It's sad they have been hot for two months, and their fans believe it entitles them to talk *****

What do you guys think about the trade I just made in my OOTP game?

I'm under a mandate to have a top 6 minor league club by 2027 from Crane and right now we're 30th. Chazzy Fizz is out for the year; so I traded Kyle Tucker and Jose Urquidy along with a no name catching prospect to the White Sox for Luis Robert Jr, and the #51 and #71 prospect, and a really good young left handed reliever named Garrett Crochet.

I might try and take a run at Ohtani in the off season or Teoscar Hernandez to fill the RF spot; but right now I have dirden in against RHP and he's doing well.

Let's be real. Dusty failed to use the roster like Dana intended. The lions share of Yainer's PA have come from starting behind the plate. This will either force Dusty to catch him more and sit him a little more.

Right now Yainer's only on pace for ~200 PA
Currently at 75 PA and needs 225 to reach the 300 PA target Dana set. That means if he is catching only then he will need 40-45 games before the end of the season or about 2 per week. Seems pretty easy to dictate that Diaz is expected to catch pitcher X and pitcher Y, and if either of those pitchers go down then he should be assigned a new pitcher.

It won't happen, but if I was getting circumvented by a subordinate manager, I certainly would be having a fresh conversation to reassert my expectations and ensuring they are crystal clear.

I know they were just blending at first, but I liked the Widow Jane I bought last year. I have enjoyed the Elijah Craig very much! Tullamore Dew put out a special reserve that was delicious several years ago (but pricey). I also like Four Roses, Knob Creek, and an occasional Woodford Reserve if that's what is available.

I agree on the vanilla, oak, and caramel. A bit of fruitiness is ok. I like a good cigar on occasion, but not in my glass.

I read something this morning that said Jose may be out this entire week. No clue if it was legitimate so I didn't share it.

I'm guessing a couple days for Tuve. Enough time to rest but not go on the IL and have to sit the full 10 days.

Makes sense why they brought the new infielder up and didn't put Tuve on the IL.

The Astros have more World Series appearances since 2019 than the Rangers have in the franchise's history. To say nothing of wins.

We have experience on our side, it's that experience that leads us to rest or even put on IL more players than most.the Rangers have played a meaningful game in August in a decade so it will be interesting to see how they handle any adversity. They have a good squad but it's hard for me to believe we don't win the division by 3 or 4 games especially if we get healthy
