They were Jim Crane signings.
Turns out Jim does a better job when he hires a competent GM and let's them make decisions...I can sorta forgive him for Abreu (kinda....last year may have been his typical 40+ age decline), but Montero getting a monster contract after 1 good (lucky) season while the rest of his career has been garbage? Recency bias at its finest.

Abreu will be in the lineup until at least the ASB. We have a minimum of 6 weeks left of this. My only hope is that Dusty moves him down in the lineup. To like 7 or 8.
