It isn't now that he's performing. He has been performing for 4-5 weeks after a 1.5 year gap. Chas has been that dude for 2+ seasons.

He's been average to a bit above average but nowhere near being the unquestioned centerfielder on a daily basis, imo. I wonder if they feel Myers has a higher upside.
