The thing is, it should have been a no brainer to catch Diaz today. It's a day game after a night game and tomorrow is a day game with Framber so it's a guaranteed Machete day.

You want to rotate catchers to save the wear. Yet Old School Dusty just won't do it.

Pretty sure Diaz took over for Chaz beating Dusty's dog.

If I had to guess, Dana told Dusty you don't have to be so rigid keeping catchers paired up with pitchers to try and get Diaz more starts, and Dusty figured that meant Maldy needed more starts.
