Same boat. I was having a bad day beforrhand and when Bregman got thrown out at home, I couldn't take it anymore and turned it off. Went to check the score at bedtime and was stunned. Had to replay the bottom of the 9th before I could go to sleep.

I thought, well, we either came back and won, came back and lost in agonizing fashion, or Yordan or Tucker got hurt. I'm so glad it was the first option.

I had a good feeling we could finish them off after Pena ripped his double and put 2 men in scoring position with 0 outs.
Now while it is good to see things click and see some life out of this offense I'm gonna try and not get too excited. The Cubs aren't really the cream of the crop.

Only my second game in person this year besides opening day and it did not disappoint. Lots of *****ing for 7 innings straight and then pandemonium. Never a doubt.
Edit to add: Been going to games since a youngster at the dome and been to MMP an ungodly amount of times but last night was my FIRST time in the Crawford Boxes and I loved it. Highly recommend sitting there if you get a chance!

Already told my buddy who is a heavy gambler to take the unders this weekend.
Lets not forget that the bullpen again came in and did a helluva job holding them scoreless since the 4th.
Their ability to cover that many outs and not allow a run is awesome and incredibly valuable.

one time we were giving Alfonso Soriano a ton of **** from the Crawford Boxes.
He ended up turning around a shooting me the bird.

I hope after sweeping a crappy team, the Astros have finally decided they should play to win every game and not just against good opponents.
We've been able to "flip the switch" for the most part when really needed which helped us hover around .500 for a while. Another series win/sweep this weekend should hopefully put that in the rearview for 2023.
