Watching the post game, and France said he thought his stuff was just as good as his 1st 2 starts. Wondered if he was tipping his pitches. I just thought his location was atrocious.

It's going to be very interesting to see how Dubon is handled. He's earned much more than a late PH or once a week replacement for a resting Tuve....

I think you'll see him 4-5 games out of 6 a week. Occasional rest day for Peña, Bregman, and Altuve. I'd start him in LF if Yordan os DH, and then sprinkle him in at Center if needed.

It's tough because Chas & Jake are playing good ball so you don't really want to put him in CF. Pena & Breggy could use a few days off here and there. But PT is going to be tough.
Edit: maybe DH Tuve some. Dubon is better defensively at 2B.

I see him in the Marwin role: he'll play SS, CF, 2B, 3B to give the regulars consistent days off.
Hensley will soon go back to Sugar Land to get consistent ABs

Dubon can play LF, no? We can DH Yordan while Dubon plays LF. Give Altuve a spot DH spot and let Dubon play 2B and Yordan play LF.

Unfortunately yes. Love Julks and his story, but the OF is getting crowded when Altuve comes back. Even more so if MB comes back.

If you do that then Dusty has to buy in and use him. If all he does is catch two games out of 5 then Salazar is pointless.

What I would do is start Diaz behind the plate at least half the time. But I see your point as it's clear DB ain't doing that.. With all these weapons to deploy we need Dusty to use them correctly.
Like if whenever we face a lefty Yordan needs to DH so Chas/Meyers can patrol the OF. Or that's the day you give Tucker off.
Don't overuse anyone because Dubon is showing he's not a giant downgrade.
If Brantley comes back then seriously consider a full time platoon to keep him healthy and to put him in favorable match ups.
And keep Diaz in the lineup as much as possible. OPS is now .628 and rising. Expected #s are solid.

Saw him pull the ball more this series than I have this year, even though a fair amount were foul. His RBI single, while beat into the ground, was pulled through the left side of the infield.

I. Hope you're right, but 2 hits in 3 games is about right for his season average. His power is completely gone and it started last year.
