It's unclear where the Astros actually sent Michael Brantley (Dusty Baker said he didn't know and the team refuses to make its trainer available), but Baker said he hoped Brantley could rejoin the team in Chicago this weekend.

You think it's OK that the manager doesn't know where physically or in the process of their rehab his players are?
That's critical information he needs to know.
I'm ok with him not saying it but if that's the case he needs to just say 'He's not currently with the team and we're not ready to say where is. We do hope that he joins us in CHI' instead of just spouting out crap.
He's done this multiple times before where what he says doesn't line up with the truth and it's annoying and somewhat embarrassing.

I seriously doubt Mickey Storey is making decisions on playing time for Brantley without the front office knowing about it and approving it first.
The front office directs innings played, positions played and even the spot in the batting order for players on rehab assignments a large majority of the time. FWIW.
This is definitely the "fan stuff" lineup, so we see all on the clock tonight
That's the reason I was pretty happy to see MB playing 1B a few days ago on his rehab assignment.
