I get they don't have to provide injury info but I wish they would just say "we don't talk about injuries" or "no comment". The answers they do give just seem untruthful and they don't have to be.
I just listened to the interview. The vibe I am getting on Brantley is that it is not something serious. It's more like we want him coming in, feeling good, playing well, and staying on the field.

Thank goodness Crane didn't hire Ausmus for the GM role.
He played 36 games in '22 and 12 in '21 at first in the minors. But it's been 7 weeks into the season and we haven't seen him there yet. We have barely seen him at DH. And we have a 3rd catcher on the roster to allow it.TRM said:

Set backs set you back, you know what I mean? Brantley not hitting isn’t a setback cause we’re not setting him back. Just more of a back up now than anything. If Brantley uses all his great swings too early he won’t have any left later and that would be a set set way back
