The point of the shift was to shift the defense to guys' tendencies when they were being pitched to straight up.
I don't think the Astros organization, or the rest of MLB for that matter, was teaching their pitchers to pitch towards the shifts.
I don't think Hunter has to do any pitching adjustments to it all. He's still trying to pitch to the holes in guys' swings. If there are any adjustments, it's all mental.
