Stealing on first move against a lefty is fairly common practice so I don't fault him. Add on that Dubon is hitting who coule poke one in behind him and he'd be on third or possibly even score.
In 2023 the way people are running I don't fault that aggressiveness.

When the leadoff gets on and Maldy comes up, he needs to start bunting and moving the runner. At least there's some production and you stay out of the Maldy DP special. The amount of unproductive ABs from him is very frustrating.
