OAK is already -85 in run differential. 20 games in and -85. Woof.

Great time at Truist Park tonight with my daughter. Super easy to get to, great area around the park, Braves fans all very cool - they have a little announcement like at church inviting you to say hi to your neighbors before the game. We talked to some LSU alumni and a bunch of Braves fans. There was a dummy in a Phillies hat about 3 rows down. I said we could all hate him together.
Great ballpark to watch a game at, just makes me so jealous that we don't have the roof open all the time in April and anytime it's under 80. It was about 70 at first pitch low 60s at the end.
Can you hear the Braves fans' booing Marcell Ozuna on TV? Because it is deafening in person.
Only A-hole of the game was a drunk woman rooting for the Astros who screamed bloody murder out a car window at a Braves fan who stepped in front of her car while crossing the street. Some of the ugliest stuff I've ever heard anyone yell. But a good object lesson for my 11 year old of why people shouldn't drink too much.
I must admit, have to agree with you.Lonestar_Ag09 said:

Glad Diaz got his double. Dusty will reward him with 10 straight games on the bench
Well
Chas McCormick will not come off the injured list on Tuesday, Dusty Baker said. McCormick hasn’t resumed hitting yet.

Man. Opinion sure changed quick on poor Hensley.
I'm sticking with Julks, Martinez and Hensley going down when Brantley, Jose and McC come back
Only other possibility for me is if Blanco goes down to get more innings/starts to stay stretched out
GM Dana Brown told @AstrosRadioMLB Michael Brantley will play for @SLSpaceCowboys “at least a week and then we’ll make an evaluation or assessment on how things are going” before they decide on a timetable for his return.

GM Dana Brown told @AstrosRadioMLB Chas McCormick will probably need a “few extra days” to bounce back from his back injury. So he “most likely” won’t be ready to come of the IL Tuesday when his 10 days are up. McCormick has yet to swing a bat, but says he’s feeling better.

Yordan Alvarez has reached base in all 19 games he's played this season. He looks to become the 7th player in Astros history to reach base in 20 straight to open a season.

Kyle Tucker (5) and Yordan Alvarez (6) have hit 11 of Houston’s 22 home runs this season.

Max Fried faces the Astros for the first time since the 2021 World Series. He gave up six runs in five innings in the Game 2 loss, then threw six shutout frames in the Game 6 clincher in Houston.

José Abreu has gone a career-long 165 plate appearances without a home run, which breaks his previous career high of 163 PA in 2022. He has 1 homer in his last 76 games dating back to last season.

They booed them when they said "here's the starting lineup for the Houston Astros" but not like the whole crowd.
After that I didn't hear anything, their fans were great. One of my favorite things about going to a game is most fans are knowledgable of their team and can talk baseball. I talked to a Red Sox fan back at the hotel last night - probably 20 years older than me, and he knew the Astros very well.
Maybe if Altuve had played there would have been more booing, but there was absolutely none from one at bat to the next. They saved all their booing for their own guy. Their 7-8-9 makes ours look like the '27 Yankees.
Jose Altuve #Astros is "ahead of schedule, great movement and flexible in the thumb and will get an X-Ray in 12 days or so to see how the thumb is healing but appears that it's healing very well" - Dana Brown GM #Astros just told me. FYI.
