Good thing we're banking all these ****ty losses early

Seems like we do this every year. It's almost like we aren't ready the play coming out of spring training.
I pin this one on Dusty. Just bunt and hit a sac fly and the game is over.

We're going to win 50 games and lose 50 games, it's what we do with the other 62 that matter.

and we are still going to hear people complain about days off, not bunting, the lineup etc.Mr.Bond said:MAROON said:

The combo of Chas + Hensley + Dubon + Maldy is a complete zero in the XBH department
And one of the XBH was Abreu's gift double misplayed by the left fielder. To be fair we've had several XBH robbed by stellar defensive plays. That's baseball folks.Mathguy64 said:loma_vista78 said:

To be fair, the whole team has 6 XBH and Yordan has 3 of them. Pretty much the whole team minus Yordan is a complete 0 in that department right now.
All I do is Nguyen said:
I think once Uncle Mike comes back, Henlsey goes to 2nd full time and Yordan is the permanent DH
I would have been upset at an Astro LF that didn't catch that ball. He was stumbling on the track and didn't get a good jump. It had an xBA of .140Lonestar_Ag09 said:
Misplayed? It hit the wall 18" above his glove.
It only looked misplayed because on the bounce on the way down it hit his glove
Until Tuve comes back....good lord i thought that was understood. The Porkchop Express said:All I do is Nguyen said:

xBA is based on a composite of all stadiums, and none of the other have the Crawford Boxes. It wasn't a well-hit ball, but it was not likely catchable. Meadows should have played it off the wall in the first place instead of trying to make the catchredline248 said:I would have been upset at an Astro LF that didn't catch that ball. Okay yeah, i can see that too but still, Hensley has shown to be worth a damn in the lineup. He has to get more looks IMO, but then again I am sure Dusty will put his boy Dubon out thereLonestar_Ag09 said:
I think the joke was that Dusty would never do that....nothing to do with Jose

Chaz probably the same because he's too short
I tried timing the pause and gave up because it is too grainy....the ball hit the wall, above his glove and then klanked off his glove as it bounced off the wallRED AG 98 said:
Wasn't a gimme but it was absolutely misplayed and appears to hit him square in the glove. He mistimed his jump and the wall collision very badly. I think it's fair to expect this play to be made more often than not.Brand new ballgame. pic.twitter.com/7lL4C2Bqgr
