Julks was an extreme reverse splits guy last year. The year before it was even. And every year before that he had normal splits. They were so extreme last year, I don't think it was chance. Something clicked for him vs RHP.

When Dusty tells us something, we should probably believe it. In his mind Jake is better at hitting fastballs. Lynn is heavy 4 seam as well as cutters and sinkers.

Jake also got 2 hits off of him in a playoff game back in 21.

I agree and they need to step in and do something. If a fan did that they would have seen some cuffs and prob not allowed in a ballpark for a long time if ever.

If you allow players to do it fans will expect to do the same.

I get it, Dusty thinks Meyers can hit the righty fastball better than Chas. But what was the reason Chas didn't hit late in the game against the lefty?? Makes no sense. What did we get? A strikeout with the bases loaded.

I just simply don't understand the decision making. He isn't the best player, but he came up really big last year in the post season and we won a World Series. How does he not deserve to get to start the year as the #1

Eric* Burns also made a ton of highlight reel catches, you know what that's actually usually a sign of, players that don't have as much range to get there and make the catch easily.

Better? He has a wet spaghetti noodle for an arm. Last night a guy went from 1st to 3rd on him and it looked like he was surprised. All he can do is lob it into the infield. Defensively, he's awful.

You must have missed the chi sox player taking 3rd on a single to center right in jakes face last night. Since his shoulder injury he's had a noodle arm and teams run on him every chance they get.

Yall can roast me all you want, I dgaf, all I'm saying is what has been stated numerous times. I'm not the one reporting it or making the lineup so I really couldn't care less.

What I am giving you in the reasonable reasons you would be told by dusty if you were able to ask him.

I stated yesterday that I thought it was the wrong decision to bench Chaz for opening day, and while I do believe Jake will come out on top he should have to prove it not be given the position.

As far as the play last night that had nothing to do with his arm, he wasn't paying attention, assumed the runner was going station to station and lolly gagged the ball back in...I bet you dont see it again because that was embarrassing as can be. (I did however enjoy Andrus getting cut down trying to go home as they were slobbering on his knob about what amazing baserunning he did)

C'mon now.

OOA is a counting stat. Chas has about double the attempts. Both are very good defensive OFers.

I didn't like the way Jake fielded that liner and let Moncada IIRC go first to third. He fielded it kind of flat-footed and just lobbed it in.

Well, he might have to address this fan again… in court. I could see a hurt back or neck strain coming from this one. I don't condone frivolous lawsuits, but Rendon needed his ass kicked for putting his hands on a fan.
