Have you ever seen a player fall off this high a cliff? Abreu cannot hit a ball hard to save his life, even by accident. Even pitchers used to run into one on occasion. Hell, I watched Bob Knepper smoke a homer.

Meanwhile 17 consecutive innings without a whisper of offense. Butt. Ass. Ugly.

You can't trot a lineup out there with 4 guys hitting under .220 and expect to score a bunch of runs. Pitch around Alvarez and it's pretty much game over.
