Trolling them is pedestrian. I'm not even sure why a real Astro fan would read that thread. I have never even considered getting on a longhorn football forum. Why would I?

The real power move is to quietly let them enjoy their short-lived lead and be confident enough to know that everyone will be in their rightful spots by the end of the season.

Does everyone on the 40 man roster make the major league minimum?

I understand that it's not realistic for them to give up on Abreu yet. But I wonder what would the Astros do if there were a season ending injury to him?

Nope. For example Cory Jukes is only getting the MLB minimum for as long as he is up with the big club, if he goes down to to make room on the 26 man roster the Astros are not required to pay him the league minimum for the time he is down in the minors.

He does make more than a AAA player of the same years who isn't on the 40 man. But it isn't anything near 750k year minimum

I have never done a deep dive into Bielak, what's his book? My impression over the past few years is he's either pretty effective or a disaster, and you won't know until an inning or 2.
