The broadcast crew told us that the interference call occurred but didn't question it one bit. Anyone on the radio? Be real curious what Rob and Sparky are saying.

I watch with VPN + MLBtv which also provides the local radio option so I do it on the regular there. Ok, salvaged a game to finish 15-13 in April. Not the best, but not a disaster when considering the time Altuve, Brantley, McCullers, McCormick, and even Yordan missed... not to mention the glacial starts by Abreu and Bregman.
And, the Astros did that against the 5th most difficult strength of schedule in baseball. The competition should soften up a bit in the coming weeks and hopefully they take advantage.

Can we just tell Dusty that Yordan is a switch hitter but just happens to always bat left. It just infuriates me that we're giving pitchers a breather between our two best hitters. It's just so maddening.
What's worse is the drop off from our two best hitters is grand canyonesque.
On a separate note it's becoming obvious that Altuve is the straw that stirs the drink (Reggie is still on our staff right). Hopefully this all works out but enjoying the win tonight.

Abreu's avg exit velocity ranks no. 217 out of 272 AL batters who have qualified. And I'll bet a lot of us would have guessed he would be lower. Even his hits lately have been dinks.
I want Yordan and Tuck in the first inning to maximize attempts, but if DB insists on the stupid RLRL thing I why not Pena, Tucker, Bregman, and Yordan until Tuve and MB come back... maybe lowering Abreu would take a little pressure off too.Prosperdick said:
