I've always loved the way Breggy plays/approaches the game. Probably my favorite Astro during this run.
Someone was talking about the difference between the Bagwell/Biggio Astros vs the Altuve/Bregman Astros. We are much looser and seem to genuinely have fun now. Bagwell was almost Jordanesque in how he demanded everyone work hard.
I think winning the WS in 2017 allowed a little more looser play in the following years. I think what's impressive is they still seemed to play loose and have fun even after all of the scandal vitriol.
Excellent point, the modern Astros won the WS in their 2nd trip to the playoffs. The Bags/Bidge Astros couldn't even win a series in their first 4 tries. They could win 95-100 games no problem in the regular season but they were just terrible in the playoffs.

That's why I think it can be really tough for a guy like Abreu to fit in easily. Because he's had a lot of great stat years, but his teams didn't do ***** He gets to the Astros as a big bat, but the Astros dont care that much about individual stats because their real season doesn't start until October each year, when 75% of the other guys are done.
