Yeah hopefully he could handle either 3rd or 2B. He's probably got the highest ceiling of anyone left. If I'm coming up with a comp I think of Aaron Boone or maybe Mike Cameron as an infielder.

Wow! I played baseball at Atascocita HS with Brice, we've kept in touch the past few years and he is a great guy! He is tooled out and has the work ethic to succeed. Would love for him to rep the H here soon!

Saw a draft ranking that had him as a 2/3 round guy. So hard to predict these things, especially if Houston is looking to save some slot money for later.

I'd prefer Bregman if those are the two options, though candidly I can't imagine Jose sticking at 2B for the life of his next contract. Still think he ends his career in LF.

Next pick should be interesting. We had to have saved money on matthews but the question is where do you spend it? Several HS players left that might require over slot. I'd still guess a college position player and they save the money for later after seeing who else drops.
