If Mexico beats Canada today, they win the pool.

At that point USA would need to beat Columbia to finish runner up. If USA loses then it becomes a 3 way tie. The team that advances would be fewest runs/outs given up.

If Canada beats Mexico today, the window is open for the USA.

At that point a USA win = Pool C Champs to go play the winner of DR/PR. If USA loses, then it's a 4 way tie. I'm not sure if they use a partial H2H (1-2 vs 2-1 tied opponents) or runs/outs given up.

Feel free to check my math, but it looks like the US will advance now with either a win tonight or a loss by 3 or fewer runs. (US - 1 run allowed to Canada in 7. Col - 5 runs allowed to Canada in 9. Canada - All the runs allowed. Would only advance with a silly score like Col 20-19 US.)
