Just found this thread so I'll move from the Astros thread to this.

Watching Cuba vs Netherlands now....

Cuba's starter looks really good. 6Ks, 1 ER, 1BB through 4 innings

Netherlands brought in a reliever in the 4th who is a current Astros minor leaguer, 26 y/o Derek West. He went 1.2 with 0 hits and a walk.

Cuba falls to Italy and is now 0-2. Too bad the top-tier Cubans won't play for them. Not that I blame the players, I just think it would be cool to see a team of Yordan, Abreu, the Gurriels, Aronzarena, Yandy, Robert, etc.
